Parties/Potties

I was all set and pumped to get on here and tell you that:

MADDIE IS OFFICIALLY POTTY TRAINED!!!!

But then we went to Leanne's last night and she wet her pants. Darn it all! She's actually been doing fantastic, has been doing great at the daycare, no problems. Just last night. And she has yet to flush the toilet after herself. But I'm not complaining! No, I'm so happy! I haven't had to change one of her poopy diapers in forever. Fantastic!
Funny side story:
After she had her accident last night, we got her cleaned up and changed and she said she would go to the bathroom now. So she went in there and I stood and watched her and nothing. I asked her if she had to go and she said "Yes! Please go OUT!" So I did, but left the door a little ajar and watched her. She didn't see me. But then she looks all around her at the walls and the ceiling, and says "WOW! What a beautiful bathroom!" hahaha Isn't she a hoot!?!

Sam is doing a lot better! He had his hopefully last dr.'s appointment today. They said he sounded SO much better and that we'd done good. He still has a pretty awful sounding cough but the doctor said that would last for awhile. Cute thing, he's doing a new sound now. He says "OWwww!" all the time, so cute!

Getting ready for Bethany's party is in full swing. And by full swing, I took a nap this afternoon and will probably be up late trying to catch up. But we did go to the store today and got all the party favors and extra stuff, she was so excited about it! I'm so glad tomorrow's Dave's day off so we can really get stuff done! :) Bethany told me a little bit ago that she was SO happy that its her birthday tomorrow! It was way sweet!

Well, I'm sure I could think of a few more things, but now I have to go to the bathroom. ;) haha

7 awesomeness!...and attractiveness!:

I can't wait for Zoe to poop in the toilet. We haven't hit that stage yet. I'm jealous of you. Really I am.

other than that... cute stories! I hope the birthday party is a blast :) And I will be posting more about the book for you!

Well, I hope your bathroom experience was just as satisfying as Maddie's. By satisfying, I mean I hope you took a moment to look around and notice the beautiful bathroom. I'm so interested I want to come and use your bathroom.
Good luck with the party, I hope it turns out great. Here's a tip......take some asprin BEFORE the kids get there and when the headache starts kicking in, you'll already have relief on it's way.

WooHoo! Congrats on the potty training. There is something about not having to change 2 sets of diapers that makes the day so much brighter. Good luck with the birthday party...and we send lots of wonderful wishes for the birthday girl!

So my friend Samantha always says a potty trained kid is like a pay raise...you don't have to buy those diapers anymore! It's totally true, I just WISH Ethan would do it. When you come visit you all should tell him how awesome it is to use his potty, ugh that kid is gonna be the end of me! Call ya later!
